Objective
To create a sustainable product line, Shellique, based on the theme of reincarnation and material regeneration, utilises sea shell waste to develop eco-friendly, hard-block biomaterials.
Concept & Process

Inspired by the idea of reincarnation, the project focused on giving new life to discarded sea shells by converting them into a bio-material compound.

Seashell powder was innovatively processed and combined with other eco-friendly binders to create durable, versatile block materials.

Emphasis was placed on sustainability, minimizing waste, and promoting material regeneration through circular design principles.
Outcome
The resulting product, Shellique, demonstrated the potential of bio-material innovation in sustainable design. The hard block materials were not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly, aligning with the project’s vision of reincarnating natural waste into functional and durable products.

To celebrate and preserve craftsmanship by creating a collection of lacquer woodcraft toys inspired by the Indian mythological characters Garuda, Makara, and Kirthi Mukha.

The Sheesh Noor candle holder, a radiant blend of art and functionality, was created during my Craft Cluster Project at the glass craft hub of Firozabad. Drawing inspiration from the enchanting Mughal motifs, this design embodies the beauty and intricacy of their timeless patterns. "Sheesh Noor," meaning "Glass Light," symbolizes the moon's soft glow dispersing darkness. Handcrafted from a fusion of vibrant, colored glasses, the candle holder emanates a warm, natural glow, transforming any space into a haven of elegance and serenity. This project celebrates the heritage of glass artistry and Mughal craftsmanship, reimagined through contemporary design.
